We seek to add positive value to our local community through the many different groups who use our premises.
The Howard Centre is the building formerly occupied by the congregation of Howard St. Andrew’s Parish Church of Scotland. In August 2008 the congregation of Howard St. Andrew’s united with the congregation of St. Marnock’s Parish Church of Scotland to form St. Andrew’s and St. Marnock’s.
Part of the vision of the union was to develop the Howard Centre as an outreach centre to unite Christians in and around Kilmarnock, to give a shared place for worship and mission and also to reach out to all in community regardless of faith and background. The centre is home to the Well Café, Craftzone, Broken Chains Kilmarnock and used by lots of outside organisations as well.
It is our hope that through the Howard Centre many will find friendship, support and encouragement and through time come to know the love of Christ.
Church services at St. Andrew’s and St. Marnock’s down the road from the centre are held every Sunday at 11am when the minister Rev Jim McNaughtan will be delighted to welcome you.
